2026 Mission Trip to Vietnam and Sumatra
Across the Sea Foundation & Jungle Branch are teaming up for a two part, one month experience of a life time with the goal of supporting local indigenous communities, education, and environmental impact through grassroots initiatives. By providing family and friends in Sumatra and Vietnam with financial and long-term economic and infrastructure planning, this mission trip seeks to help local communities through practical, sustainable support.
Guests who join on this mission will get first hand experience and eye witness perspective of life on the other side of the shelf.
What do we mean by that? Well, every day goods we enjoy in Western society - such as coffee, fruit, nuts, cooking oil, etc - often comes from places and people still under the chokehold of Colonization.

On this trip we will visit farms, forests, and villages with direct ties to our family and friends in both regions. We will see lands that have been churned into the capitalist flood, that not too long ago provided a way of life for the people living in both the Central Highlands of Vietnam and the mountainous jungles of Sumatra.
In Sumatra we will bare witness to monocrop agriculture plantations and the people impacted by them.
