Year-End Reflection 2025: A Year of Unity, Impact, and Hope

As we reflect on 2025, we do so with deep gratitude and humility. This year was a powerful reminder that when hearts align across borders, lives can be changed. Through the unwavering support of our donors, partners, and community, Across the Sea Foundation was able to take meaningful action in areas of clean water access, sustainable livelihoods, medical care, education, advocacy, and the fight against human trafficking.

Major Projects & Community Impact

Clean Water Wells
Access to clean water remains essential to health and dignity. In 2025, we invested $1,500 toward water well initiatives, helping provide safer and more reliable water sources for families.

Coffee Farm Fence Project
To support sustainable farming and protect livelihoods, $10,000 was dedicated to building fencing for coffee farms, helping safeguard crops and strengthen long-term economic stability for farming families.

Medical Support
Throughout the year, we were able to cover critical medical bills for community members in need, ensuring access to care during times of vulnerability.

Rescuing Loan: Standing Against Human Trafficking

One of the most profound moments of 2025 was the successful rescue of Loan from a human trafficking syndicate in early March.

Through the collective efforts of donors, advocates, and partner organizations, we raised $13,782 toward her rescue and recovery. In addition, we donated $4,444 directly to SHUT (Stop Human Trafficking) to support broader rescue and prevention efforts.

Loan’s living and recovery expenses were made possible through the generosity of:

  • Across the Sea Foundation donors

  • Dr. Bronner’s – $7,000

  • Dr. Dave, founder of Grassroots AID Partnership

  • Numerous faithful online and offline supporters

While we celebrate Loan’s freedom, we recognize the painful truth that many victims remain trapped. Her rescue strengthened our resolve and reaffirmed our commitment to continue standing against human trafficking wherever it exists.

Speaking Engagements & Awareness Building

Education and awareness are vital to lasting change. In 2025, Across the Sea Foundation shared its mission and stories through speaking engagements at:

  • UNC Asheville, hosted by Dr. Evelyn Chiang

  • Montagnard American Association, with Director Liana Adrong

  • Bunong Bible Alliance Church, Greensboro, NC

  • Guilford Community College

These opportunities allowed us to amplify voices, share lived experiences, and foster dialogue around justice, human rights, and community empowerment.

2025 Financial Impact

Total Donated in 2025:
$26,882

Every dollar given represented trust, compassion, and belief in a shared mission.

Gratitude & Looking Ahead

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of Dr. Bronner’s, Grassroots AID Partnership, and our faithful donors. Your support made unity possible. Together, we did more than fund projects—we restored dignity, protected lives, and created pathways to freedom.

Each person played a crucial role. Alongside international and local NGOs, we joined as one force to serve human relations and uphold the value of every life.

Freedom for all who are trapped is our hope and our dream.
One step at a time. One life at a time.
With unity, we can bring our loved ones home.

Thank you for walking this journey with us.
