BIPOC Group Hike

WNC AAPI & Southside Community Farm invite you to join us for a 3-4 mile group hike at Big East Fork Trail in Pisgah National Forest.
Our hope with BIPOC hikes is to empower people of color to explore the outdoors in the WNC region. We share knowledge of our favorite hikes and enjoy the community and safety that we find together. If you've ever felt discomfort hiking alone, join us! We particularly hope to provide BIPOC women and LBGTQ+ folks with the opportunity to meet and form hiking friends and groups. All genders are welcome.

Who is this event for?
This event is intended for BIPOC nature fans, and Family & Friends of Southside Community Farm & WNC AAPI.

Be sure to wear good hiking shoes!
Dogs are welcome.

Bring a water bottle and snacks for yourself or to share.

Your preferred hiking footwear & swimsuit, backpack, sunscreen, first aid kit, sketchbook, walking sticks, etc.
